The wireless outdoor access point, model R300WN22OP5E, allows you to create or expand the reach of a Wireless-N 5 GHz wireless network (300 Mbps) in an outdoor area, which allows you to connect wireless devices to the network more reliably, to faster and with less congestion.

By isolating the wireless network at 5 GHz frequency, a smartphone, a tablet or a dual band laptop will work with less interference from other devices connected in common 2.4 GHz networks. For ideal wireless coverage across areas outside, the access point integrates the Wireless A / N networks or existing wired networks for the transmission of a WiFi SSID signal through a high-power internal directional antenna (600 mW), 14dBi and type 2T2R (2 transmitters, 2 receivers).

This PoE powered access point includes a PoE injector, so it can be conveniently installed in places where there is usually no electrical outlet. In addition, the PoE-pass-through functionality through a double RJ-LAN port ᇁ allows the connection of a device with PoE capability to the remote location access points. For versatile outdoor installation, the access point includes a weatherproof box and allows mounting on a pole or wall.
