The RP-AC52 puts a real dual-band network at your disposal, even if you have an older single-band router. Double your wireless performance with a bandwidth of up to 733 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously. The 2.4 GHz band manages daily tasks such as surfing the Internet and using social networking sites, while the 5 GHz band is perfect for streaming HD video and online games.

Indicators of signal power of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
The LED signal strength meter located on the front of the Wi-Fi RP-AC52 repeater allows you to see at a glance the power of the signals of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
We recommend placing the RP-AC52 between the router and the area to which you want to bring wireless coverage. The RP-AC52 works best when it receives a strong wireless signal from the router, which you can check with the signal strength indicator on the front panel of the RP-AC52. This indicator shows the signal strength of the two frequency bands: the greater the length of the illuminated band, the more powerful the signal will be. Place the RP-AC52 so that it is as far away as possible from the router, but do not fail to show a strong signal level.
Automatic switching between Wi-Fi repeater mode and access point
The PR-AC52 offers two very practical modes that make it even more flexible. In addition to being a Wi-Fi repeater, you can also perform wireless access point (AP) functions. In AP mode you can connect to any wired LAN, for example, to a hotel's Internet connection, to create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot that allows access to the Internet connection from laptops, phones and other Wi-Fi devices -Fi. The AP is also practical for adding wireless functionality to a router that does not have built-in Wi-Fi.
Streaming music using the ASUS AiPlayer application and various wireless transmission protocols
You can connect speakers to the Wi-Fi RP-AC52 repeater and transmit your favorite music directly from any mobile device that has the ASUS AiPlayer application installed. It supports a wide variety of multimedia formats, and offers a seamless and smooth transmission experience, from any corner of your home. The RP-AC52 also transmits music from Mac and iOS devices, without the need for additional software.
Radio through the Internet
The RP-AC52 Wi-Fi repeater includes built-in radio compatibility over the Internet, so you can broadcast all your favorite stations from the graphic menus interface of the router, or using the dedicated application.
One-touch configuration, simple connectivity
To install the Wi-Fi RP-AC52 repeater, you do not need CDs, not even a mouse or a keyboard. With just pressing the WPS button, the configuration will be completed. Optimized performance is guaranteed, so the Internet experience is transparent and fluid. For specific administration tasks you can connect the RP-AC52 to a PC with an Ethernet cable and directly access the configuration page, or configure it quickly from a tablet or smartphone wirelessly, without the need for a disk or application.
Touch control of music and lighting
Simply touch the RP-AC52 wireless range amplifier sensor to start or stop music playback or turn the LED lighting on and off. Only one touch is needed to facilitate the process. You can even customize the sensor configuration from the simple graphical menu interface.
Elegant power that illuminates your house
The Wi-Fi RP-AC52 repeater has an additional LED on its back, which makes it a practical night light with a soft white glow.
Compact, flexible and saves space
The Wi-Fi RP-AC52 repeater has a compact design with the plug on the back, which offers more freedom when placing it in the place you want. You do not need a power cable, and it connects directly to wall outlets or power strips so that installing it is the least of your problems.
