All landlines in the world have a RJ11 type female slot. The problem is at the other end, that is to say, in the connector of the wall, that will determine the cable that we must use:
Standard RJ11 to RJ11 cable
It is the most widespread in the world. It is used throughout America and in most European countries (Spain, Italy, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Russia ...) and the rest of the world (China, Japan, India, Australia, etc.).
French cable from RJ11 to F-010
Also called "T plug" or "PTT plug". It is the standard in France and is also used in Andorra and old French colonies like Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and much of Africa.
German RJ11 to TAE cable
TAE is the acronym for "Telekommunikations-Anschluss-Einheit", meaning "Telecommunication connection unit". It is used in Germany, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
English cable from RJ11 to BS 6312
The BS 6312 cable, also called "BT plug" because it was introduced by British Telecom to connect its own terminals, is very similar to the RJ11 but incompatible with it. It is used in the United Kingdom and in countries of British influence like New Zealand, Cyprus, Malta, Israel, Gibraltar and Saudi Arabia, among others.
