Huawei is attending this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with a flagship device, the Mate XT Ultimate Design, which it describes as "the world’s first commercially available smartphone with three folds."
The phone has a screen that folds inward on one hinge and outward on another. It is also equipped with a camera featuring a 10-times adjustable physical aperture.
At Huawei’s booth, a large screen using 3D effects visible to the naked eye showcases the advantages of this triptych phone.
At the booth of the Chinese giant, the Huawei Mate 70 series phones are also on display, featuring the Ultra Chroma camera that delivers unprecedented color accuracy.
The Intelligent Scenario experience zone in the pavilion allows visitors to try out firsthand features such as multiple exposure and AI retouching.
The Mate X6 area takes an innovative approach by showing some of the groundbreaking materials that make up the phone, inviting attendees to cut ice with a graphene sheet to experience the material's remarkable thermal conductivity.
In a cycling-themed section of the booth, participants can test the TruSense system’s vital sign monitoring capabilities, which compares real-time heart rate data from professional sports heart rate monitors with data captured by the Watch GT 5.
In the Health Glance zone, Huawei demonstrates health indicators measured by its Watch D2, the first medically certified wearable as a wrist-based ambulatory blood pressure monitor.
Huawei will also showcase the latest advancements in audio devices with the Huawei FreeArc, a revolutionary step forward in Huawei’s audio collection, marking the company’s first move into open-ear headphones with hooks and the iconic C-bridge Design, offering exceptional sound, powerful bass, and comfort in any weather condition for an unmatched open audio experience.
