Technology company OPPO has announced the launch in Spain of its new smartphones, the OPPO Reno12 F and OPPO Reno12 FS, available in 4G and 5G versions. Both models stand out for incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) features aimed at enhancing both the creativity and productivity of the user.
According to a press release, notable features include tools like AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, which optimize the photographic experience, as well as AI Recording Summary and AI Writer, designed to facilitate content creation and management.
Other highlights of the OPPO Reno12 F and OPPO Reno12 FS include a complete redesign with a finish called Cosmos Ring, evoking "the style of classic watches by integrating a circular camera module on the rear cover."
Additionally, a light halo surrounds the camera and syncs with music and notifications. Furthermore, the 'All Round Armour' protection offers increased durability, ensuring "resistance to drops, scratches, and splashes, supported by IP64 certification and a high-resistance internal structure."
In terms of technical specifications, these new OPPO Reno12 series devices are equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 685 processors, providing robust and efficient performance. They also feature 120 Hz screens and a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting fast charging at 45W.
OPPO aims to provide smooth and extended use, with up to two days of battery life under normal usage conditions. Additionally, AI LinkBoost technology allows the smartphones to maintain optimal connectivity even in congested networks or areas with weak signal.
Regarding storage, the OPPO Reno12 F, in both 4G and 5G versions, comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM, while the OPPO Reno12 FS 4G offers 8GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM, and the OPPO Reno12 FS 5G, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM. All models also support virtual RAM expansion, with up to 24GB additional on the OPPO Reno12 FS 5G model, and feature OPPO's ROM-Vita technology, which optimizes storage space through intelligent file compression and cleaning.
The OPPO Reno12 F and OPPO Reno12 FS are already available in the Spanish market at prices ranging from 269 to 379 euros, depending on the model and configuration. Customers who purchase one of these models before September 30 will benefit from a launch promotion that includes 45W Supervooc chargers and OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro earphones. The smartphones can be purchased from OPPO's official store and major retailers across the country.
