PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony’s new console, will arrive on November 7 with technologies that enhance the graphical aspect, which more than 50 titles will be able to take advantage of from its launch day.
Sony has boosted the graphical power with a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing technology, and the use of machine learning to upscale resolution, in response to players’ requests for hardware that can run graphics with higher fidelity at smoother speeds of 60 frames per second.
The result is the new addition to the PlayStation 5 lineup: PS5 Pro, which Sony announced in September and will reach stores on November 7. It will come with an initial catalog of 55 titles that will allow players to take advantage of the latest in graphics.
“A new power is not much use without immersive games to get lost in,” commented Tim Turi, Content Communications Manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment, in a statement on the official blog.
At the launch of the PS5 Pro, games such as Alan Wake 2, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, EA Sports FC 25, Star Wars: Outlaws, among others, will be available, but the list of games with graphical enhancements will be expanded soon.
